Nearly 200 people attend the formal Awards Banquet, which honors former faculty and alumni of the College of Arts and Sciences. To keep costs low, the program is photocopied, making creating something attractive a challenge.

I designed a program so the back of the cover was larger than the front and the inside pages. The extra width was folded over the front of the program. This made an attractive design, and allowed me to put the evening's program on the inside of the folded flap, so it could be seen from any page in the program.

To give the program some color, I used a natural-looking paper and stamped a leaf design on the cover using a hand stamp.

Below, the right side of the cover and the inside of the flap when it is open. The line indicates where the flap folds over the cover. The brown leaf was stamped both on the outside of the flap and then matched on the part of the cover hidden by the flap.
